Past Conferences Organized by: Dawood Research Institute (DRI) DRI’s 1st international conference was held in April 2023 in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, University of Jos, Nigeria.

Collaborative Projects

National Survey on Religious Giving in Nigeria. This survey research project was conducted by Dawood Research Institute and funded by the Center for Muslim Philanthropy Initiative, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Indiana University, USA.

Researchers from the Dawood Research Institute were able to cover all the six geo-political zones in Nigeria to collect data on religious giving among Muslims and Christians in Nigeria. This project was conducted between 20th September until November 2024. National Survey of Muslim Non-Governmental Organizations in Nigeria. This survey project was conducted by the Dawood Research Institute with funding from the Center for Muslim Philanthropy Initiative, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Indiana University, USA.

The research was conducted in the four geo-political zones in Nigeria where Muslims are in the majority. The project took place from June to August 2024. National Survey on Muslim Motivation in Nigeria. This survey research project was also conducted by the Dawood Research Institute with funding from the Center for Muslim Philanthropy Initiative, Lilly School of Philanthropy, Indiana University, USA. The research was conducted within four geo-political zones in Nigeria where Muslims form the majority from November to December 2024.
